i'm feeling like many of you have expressed in your blogs. Christmas is almost upon us and i am only about half way finished with all the things that need to be done. i know it will all get done. i'll just continue to take it one day at a time.
i have been wanting to make my mom a mini album of my grandson for Christmas. i am always sending her and my dad pictures on the computer. my mom doesn't use the computer so the other day she said she wanted real photos she could put in her purse. Kimberly Brimhall gave me this fabulous idea. i love it. i think my mom will too.
the album is actually a Real Simple business card holder from Target. it was under $5. i like it because it already has the page protectors in it and the band to keep it closed. it will be perfectly safe in my moms purse. if you add embellishments you may want to take out the chipboard inserts and use cardstock. then you have the white chipboard that came with the card holder to make another album. just punch holes in the chipboard cards with your Crop-a-dile and add rings and ribbon. i actually scrapped front and back. on some i just journaled. there are 10 pages, so you can get 20 pictures in it. if you are still needing to make handmade gifts and you're short on ideas and cash this was real simple and fun.
Sorry! i got carried away posting different shots. i couldn't help myself. i couldn't decide which ones to post.
