well, the verdict is still out on the basket case. haha. not even funny! our Easter weekend turned out a little different than we had planned. Jake ended up working because we are headed out this week to see Jakey in Pittsburgh. he wanted to make sure everything was taken care of so he could leave with peace of mind about the jobs we have going right now. he was really exhausted so we decided to stay home, work in the yard, watch the Masters, and just try to catch up on some much needed rest. we are going to celebrate Easter with the Wichitans (a.k.a. Burgandi, Mike and Harrison) the week after we get back. so, i have an other week to decide. i'm leaning toward the wire bird cage or hat. she does love vintage and she looks great in hats.
i have several friends and family members that i pray for on a regular basis and this week i've found that i have been in continual prayer for several of you. you all know who you are and my heart is with you guys. i found these scriptures last week and i have been praying this before i start my prayer for all of you: Psalm 5:1-3: Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God. For to you I will pray. my voice you shall hear in the morning, O Lord. In the morning I will direct it to you and I will look up. -NKJ
just know i am adding my faith to yours everyday.

that's all i'm gonna tag for now. my eyes are getting very heavy girls.
i want to share this link with those of you that are into the art journals right now. i stumbled upon this blog and i really LOvE it. have fun looking and reading. the site is called amonobooks: handmade journals and mixed media art.
here's one of the art journal pages i finished. i played with paint this time and it was fun too, but i'm partial to paper.
journaling reads: Ain't no sunshine when he's gone. It's not warm when he's away. He's always gone to long any time he goes away.
Ain't no sunshine when he's gone. this house just ain't no home... any time he goes away.
hope you all get a chance to art it up this week.
