i want to send a little love to a friend of mine. Dora, i hope you start to feel better soon. thank you for all the sweet comments you always leave for me. you there is kindness in your heart and you make me smile. i made you card on Scrapblog. it's a simple and sweet card and reminded me of you.
Get Well Soon Dora!
on to my reminder list:
- drink enough water
- start an exercise program
- remember that Christ is in charge of my day
- open up those scrapbook kits that came in and as Donna Downey say, 'explore the artist in me'
- don't let any opportunity to bless someone pass you by. grab the opportunity and just do it.
- paint a room for a pick me up (or paint on paper)
- take more pictures (honestly...you'd think i could get this down)
- the best way to get something done is to begin. -Author Unknown
- an apology is the best way to have the last word.- Author Unknown
and so with this last one, i'll tell you a little story. my hubby is always one to apologize when he knows he should. last week i kept asking him to help me make some decisions about a trip that my daughter and i are going to be taking for our birthdays. he wanted no part of the decision making. finally he got really aggravated and snapped at me. of course i got all upset about it. later he sent me a text and asked if it was safe to call me. i told him that it depended on what he had to say. within a few minutes he called. this is how the conversation went.
me - hello? (come on girls. you know the tone i was using, right?)
Jake - Obama just called me to say that i acted inappropriately. he said i was a jackass.
me - bahahah. i forgive you. :)
for those of you who never saw the news segment where some guy asked Obama what he thought about the whole Kanye West and Taylor Swift thing that was his response. and yes, let's cut the President some slack on this one.
i hope you all have a very merry day!
